The Procurement Monitoring Bureau (PMB) provides publicly available data and analytical tools on public procurement in Latvia, as well as information on European Union data sources in the field of public procurement.
Latvia's public procurement data enable users to search for published procurement procedures using various search criteria, including the applicable legal framework, procurement procedure, subject of the procurement, and contracting authority. Information is also available on concluded contracts and their actual implementation, as well as data on transactions carried out through the e-Ordering subsystem of the Electronic Procurement System.
To facilitate the review and analysis of procurement information, the PMB also provides several data visualization tools (including ranking and Key Performance Indicators of contracting authorities). These allow users to analyze procurement indicators, trends, risk factors, and the performance of contracting authorities through interactive visualizations, as well as compare data across different dimensions.
In addition, open data are available in the form of machine-readable datasets that can be used for further processing, research, analysis, and the development of other digital solutions. The datasets are available from both the Publication Management System and the Electronic Procurement System.
The PMB also provides information on European Union public procurement data sources, including EU-level procurement, public procurement indicators of EU Member States, and the European Public Procurement Data Space.
Public procurement data are valuable for contracting authorities, suppliers, researchers, policymakers, and anyone interested in gaining a better understanding of public procurement processes, trends, and developments.
Procurement data tools have been developed within the framework of the Recovery and Resilience Facility’s investment project No 2.1.3.1.i.0/1/23/I/VARAM/007 "Digital transformation of public procurement processes and services".
